What I can't tell you

It's hard to see you stand just there
looking right through me
your heart just beats right through mine
you know just how i feel
i can't just say what i want
for consequences i can't bear
and yet you stare into my soul
to think that i would dare
for one thought of having you
would tear all apart
for you stand too far away
though you are right here in my heart
My thought each day they go to you
each moment that i breathe
it scares me so that i do feel
such a way about you
this feelings they have a way
of taking me away from what is real
so if I said I'm sorry
please know just how i feel
